Glossier Lash Slick

If you've seen my previous posts, you'll know that I love Glossier makeup. When I first found out that they released Glossier's Lash Slick, I knew I had to try it. 

'Extensions without the extensions" is how Glossier described it, and I would defiantly agree with that. In a poll created by Glossier, it was said that "94% of people said that Lash Slick doesn't flake, 91% said that Lash Slick doesn't smudge and91% of people said that Lash Slick lasts all day." Personally, I think the percentage should be higher because I've been wearing Lash Slick for the last two years, and it's always lasted all day with no flaking or smudging, even in the heat. 

The Key Ingredients

Japanese Fibre Technology

One and two millimetre-long curved fibres hook onto the lashes, adding length.

Vegan Biotin

Conditions and strengthens for healthier, softer lashes overtime.

Natural Shine Polymers

Enhances the formula's black pigments so the lashes are extra shiny and sleek.

Tapered Comb Brush

The tiered bristles and precise tip separate top and bottom lashes around the root, ensuring even application. 

The Formula

The formula of the mascara is amazing. Before I ordered it, I watched various YouTube tutorials to see how the mascara looked whilst on, and it looked good in every single video. It makes my lashes separate, whilst coating them to give them a natural eyelash extension/lash lift look. It also doesn't clump my lashes together. It lengthens my lashes to make them look naturally longer, whilst keeping them in good condition, which I've never seen from a mascara before. It also sculpts and curls my lashes at the same time, whilst also fanning them out.

The Staying Power

The staying power is great. As I said earlier, in a poll created by Glossier, it was said that "94% of people said that Lash Slick doesn't flake, 91% said that Lash Slick doesn't smudge and91% of people said that Lash Slick lasts all day." The Removal Process

The removal process is easy. I use Face Halo to remove my makeup, which only requires water, and the mascara glides smoothly off my skin, without having to harshly rub it off my skin, which is the problem I've had with some mascaras in the past. I've also previously used Simple Kind To Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes before, and they're good for removing the concealer too, just not as sustainable and good for the environment as Face Halo.

The Verdict

I love this mascara and I'll be using it for the rest of my life! It makes your lashes look naturally long, whilst also making it look like you got lash extensions/lash lift. It's so lightweight that it feels like you have nothing on your skin and it stays put all day. It's one of the best mascaras I've ever used. It only costs £14, and it lasts me for months, which is worth it for the price. I use it every single day and you don't need to use much of the product.
